10 ways to combat pimples

Here a few unusual alternative tips on how to rid yourself of pimples. These are not meant to be all done at once! It is a list of tips that have worked for various people in the past and for you to try and see what the best solution is for you!

  1. Dab on a drop of tea tree oil before going to bed.
  2. Dab on toothpaste (not the gel) before going to bed, really!
  3. Use natural products, the fewer chemicals your skin has to deal with, the better.
  4. Add teaspoon of Bicarbonate of Soda to a bowl of water and rinse your face daily.
  5. Add a teaspoon of vinegar to a bowl of water and rinse your face daily. This helps stabilise the PH balance of your skin, making it less oily or dry.
  6. Add teaspoon of 3% Peroxide to a bowl of water and rinse your face daily.
  7. Use a pure, unscented gentle soap to cleanse the skin twice a day.
  8. Cleanse your face then apply baby powder before going to bed.
  9. Change your pillowcase once or twice a week to stop bacteria transferring to your skin.
  10. Be gentle and use a moisturiser specific for troubled skin, sparingly every day!
