If you have ever been concerned about the additives and chemicals that your children are ingesting day after day then this weeks review will interest you. Jack N’ Jill Kids are a Melbourne based company that sell toothpaste for kids that is 100% safe with no fluoride, preservatives or added colours and are SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) free. You can read about the dangers of SLS in toothpastes here.
We were kindly sent a sample of toothpastes, a toothbrush and a wonderful silicone finger brush for review.
Our three-year-old reviewer generally isn’t keen to brush his teeth for the required length of time but when I used the silicone finger brush on his teeth, he loved it! He still got to brush his teeth himself with the well designed toothbrush from Jack N’ Jill Kids but I decided to ‘finish the job’ with the finger brush just to make sure his teeth got a thorough clean. Not only suitable for toddlers the finger brush is double sided so you can use the 'brush' side for gentle cleaning of baby's teeth and the 'dimple' side to massage gums – great for teething gums. Of course it’s non-toxic and BPA Free.
Young children always tend to ingest some toothpaste with every brush so using completely safe toothpaste is very comforting, knowing they are not swallowing any chemicals that could adversely affect them as they grow.
The toothpaste from Jack N’ Jill Kids comes in a great variety of flavours including banana, blackcurrant, blueberry, strawberry and raspberry, so you know your child will love at least one of them. All the toothpaste is certified organic, are sugar free and contain calendula extract which soothes and protects gums.
The toothbrushes from Jack N’ Jill Kids are no ordinary toothbrushes either! With soft rounded nylon bristles for superior cleaning and an ergonomic handle made from 100% Corn Starch they are compostable with a biodegradable handle, definitely an eco friendly alternative when considering the landfill issues happening now.
All up an extremely positive review for Jack N’ Jill Kids who can be found at http://www.jackandjillkids.com and on Facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/JackNJillNaturalToothpaste
