The Shopping Network for Mums

Having the pleasure to review the Mum’s Lounge website was not only interesting but the time seemed to slip away effortlessly while I browsed around the site.

I found the site very ‘busy’ and full of all kinds of resources and information. Although Mum’s Lounge markets itself as a ‘shopping network’ I did find lots of other useful areas that mums could find helpful.

The shopping directory is the main hub of the site while the community section informs members of reviews, competitions and also has a growing forum amongst other things. What I did love about this site was its genuine concern to help all those mums out there find something useful. They have a very good weekly e-newsletter that lets you know about their latest hot deals and discounts available. I think the people over at http://www.mumslounge.com.au/ are not only helping mums in the home, but offering business promotion and quality products in the process.

Take a peek at Jolene’s Mumbo Jumbo Blog while you’re on the site, it had me hooked for nearly an hour reading the informative but hilarious writings from Jolene, so funny and well worth the time. Another part of the site that fascinated me was the Billboard. There are tons of articles in this section that are very helpful.

If you want to find out about events and activities for you and the kids that are happening in your state you can use the Mums and Me Calendar which seems to be still growing. Speaking of growing, Mum’s Lounge is working on some great new sections to add to their website; The Recipe Box, Quick Work Outs and Games, so keep an eye out for those! As it is Mum’s Lounge is a very useful shopping guide and an informative resource for all those mums out there.

‘I had actually been a member and receiving the newsletters long before being asked to review Mum’s Lounge so I just wanted to add that if you love to shop and are looking for a bargain, you must join their newsletter. Also, don’t be shy; I think you really have to get involved with the Mum’s Lounge community, ie forum. That way you will get the best out of the website!’

So, if you’re heading to Mum’s Lounge now, get a cup of tea or coffee ready;
you could be there for a while….. Enjoy!
