If you have children you know at times the amount of cups or glasses they can use in a day is sometimes astounding. One cup per child per day is all that is required but I can tell you this doesn’t happen most days in our household. With the MyColourCups on their way for review I was going to conduct a social experiment for the rest of the Aussie parents out there….. Will the MyColourCup reduce the amount of glasses being used, along with the arguments that come with the siblings drinking the others juice!
So, what is the MyColourCup that is going to change our households’ ways? Well, it took a clever mother of four to design the perfect plastic cup that can personalised with each child’s name. Although each cup has six names per cup only one name is visible by twisting the black band to your name/colour. You can select all six names you want on the cups, as we have a family of four, I added the ‘names’, Random and Friend to make up the six. This then made the cups suitable for when friends and family came over.
I didn’t think such a product would help with the peace and harmony throughout the house. You may think that statement is a dramatisation on the review of the MyColourCup but in our house these personalized cups stopped arguments, spillages due to snatching between brothers and more arguments because ‘He drank my juice’.
I loved that the MyColourCups also taught my children responsibility. The MyColourCup Station added to the responsibility of looking after their daily cup. I kept our station close to the kitchen but on a table, which is a suitable height for our little boys. (Saved me from constantly being asked to ‘put it up there’ and ‘can I have my cup please’, all day long.) Mum and Dad are two of the names we have on our cups so we too could keep the washing to a minimum and to show the kids we were practicing what we preach too. On top of all these great things, we then found the MyColourCups were great to take on family picnics, camping and BBQ’s. For all of us, the MyColourCups’ have been a wonder practical product to use everyday, not to mention they are dishwasher safe.
The MyColourCup sound like they were well used and very needed in our reviewers’ household! The MyColourCups hold a generous 500mls, are made from BPA free plastic and all come with your six selected personalized names. Every morning you twist, use and reuse!
