This week we have had a rainbow of a review thanks to tubsnstuff.com.au, The Australian Home of the Original Flexible Tub, sending out a fantastic variety of their Tubtrugs® Flexible containers. We received a total of five different sized and coloured Tubtrugs and sent them off to 5 different reviewers.
Initially what I noticed about these Tubtrugs when I received them was the quality of the product. From the smallest to the largest the Tubtrugs are all food safe, have grip on the bottom for added safety, measurements on the inside of the tub to inform you of the millilitres or litres, sturdy handles which you can tell will not break off and best of all, they are lightweight yet strong enough to hold a decent amount however flexible enough to make it easy for us to carry the items contained. All round I thought these Tubtrugs had thought of everything needed in a great storage container considering they don't actually know what you are going to use it for.
I reviewed the cute little yellow Tubtrug. Only holding a little over 300 ml he was quite small but I had endless duties for him. He held my make-up pencils for a while, was stolen by me 3 year old son for a bath toy for a week or so, I claimed it back and currently have it on my desk hold all my pens. I have found it to be great quality, no cracks or splinters have appeared. In fact it's a very handy little tub!
I reviewed the Extra Small Tubtrug which isn't really that small considering it hold 5 litres. I thought this was a great size for using around the house. I used it to wash my fruit and vegetable in, I used it while washing the bathrooms to collect as splash water on the walls and now it is in the bathroom holding all the bath toys since our other contained broke. It has been a gret product to use and found the handles on either side on the tub much easier to use than a regular bucket.
The pink Small Tubtrug was my review item and definitely used it more than I thought I would! I started by using it was my recycling bin in my office because I loved the splash of colour, then one night our shower head busted and started leaking water. I had the perfect tub to collect the water overnight, by the morning there was about 8 litres of water which I easily carried to the garden thanks to the flexible design of the Tubtrug. I was very impressed by practicality of this product.
I knew when I received the Large Tubtrug it was perfect for helping me in the garden. I've filled it up with cuttings, old pots, weeds and simply taken it all to the bin. The container is lightweight and the flexiblity means I can really push things in there and it move or shape it's accordingly (within reason of course.) I liked the red too because I know I'm not going to lose it in the garden somewhere! 🙂
And finally the Large Shallow Tubtrug….
Before I passed this one on I found it was the perfect size to hold all our incoming reviews and mail but now I have read the tub is going camping….
Yes we think this will be great for us to take camping. I plan to use it as a basin so I can wash the bigger pots and pans, right now the kids toys are packed in it ready to go and I think it will also be handy just to store odds and ends and we collect things on our journey. I know it's going to be very well used!
So, as you can see you are only limited by your imagination as to how and were you can use these durable, colourful Tubtrugs. Not one of our reviewers used their Tubtrug in the same way!
