We’ve collected a selection of pet food recipes that we hope your pets will love. If you are making these recipes for the better health of your pets or just to save money you’ll have a lot of fun and your pets will get to try something different! But, you know what cats are like! Cats are true carnivores, so they need a source of animal protein to survive. You can find some useful information here.

There are few things your dogs shouldn’t be eating. These include chocolate, onions, garlic, milk (yep even for cats), cooked bones (they can splinter), avocado, beer, grapes, raisins, sultanas, not too much bread, macadamia nuts, walnuts, salt, pips/seeds and mouldy foods. It’s best to just feed your dog and cat minced cooked meats, vegetables and pasta and rice or read some more info here.

Keep a container in the fridge for your leftovers so that at the end of the week you’ll have enough to add to your dogs dinner.
For Birds: Fresh fruits, sprouts, vegetables, pasta, bread, green leafy vegetables, plain popcorn (not prepackaged), oats, grains, wild grasses and nuts all make good foods for birds. Of course a balanced seed mix for your bird breed is essential.
