Businesses are just like any other part of our lives, they work better with structure. Chances are, you’re not starting your own business to let work consume your life. Principle 4: Ask for directions
It’s a running joke that men never ask for directions, but if we’re honest with ourselves women aren’t always so great at it either. Sure we’ll look at a map, but how often do we admit we just need some help? Learning to accept the fact, and truly accept it for yourself as well, that every body needs help sometimes is a critical step in any business’ formation.
This means being willing to ask for help, being able to find help, and providing resources to get the help that you may very well need. Put aside some cash, make sure you have holiday time, and always be invested first and foremost in yourself and your personal development. Your business will thank you for it!

Principle 5: Find your niche and let them know you’re here!
It can seem like the easier idea to keep your business generally oriented, ready to serve all, but the truth is that every business has a market that it needs to be fitting into. There’s no shame whatsoever (and there’s a lot of profit to be had) in finding out who the primary consumers in that market are, and targeting them! You need to identify your perfect client.
Even we forget from time to time how important it is to make sure you’re doing this. Don’t just identify your market, let them know you’re here! This is a basic principle of business, but it is one that is far too easily overlooked.
